!!! NODE-RUNNER "KITT-ON" - AUTOMATICALLY MAKE YOUR PC THINK YOUR STILL THERE !!! "KITT-ON" automatically runs an inbuilt "HeartBeat Timer" that simulates a "Key Press" on the PC Keyboard "NumLock" Key every 750 milliseconds. The only way to stop the inbuilt "HeartBeat Timer" is to close "KITT-ON" - THIS IS BY DESIGN. Double Click in the Main Window to Open the About Window. DESIGNED FOR USE WITH "KITT-OFF", BUT CAN BE RUN WITHOUT !!! CHECK OUT NODE-RUNNER "HEARTBEAT" FOR THE SAME FUNCTIONALITY IN A MORE USER FRIENDLY WAY !!! |

!!! NODE-RUNNER "KITT-OFF" - AUTOMATICALLY CLOSE "KITT-ON" !!! "KITT-OFF" will automatically close "KITT-ON" 'about' 5 Seconds after starting, then automatically closes itself 'about' 2 Seconds later. "KITT-OFF" uninterrupted total run time should be less than 10 Seconds. "STOP COUNTDOWN" Button stops both Countdown Timers. "START COUNTDOWN" Button resets both Countdown Timers back to their original start times, and the Countdown Process begins counting down again. |
!!! NODE-RUNNER - "KITT-ON" & "KITT-OFF" - WHAT'S THE PURPOSE...??? !!! Run "KITT-ON" as a "start /b" command at the start of a .bat command script, and it should keep the PC on and not allow for inactivity power saving features to work, allowing for uninterrupted processing of the .bat command script. Run "KITT-OFF" as another "start /b" command at the end of the .bat command script, and it will automatically close "KITT-ON", allowing for inactivity power saving features to work again. "KITT-ON" & "KITT-OFF" can also be used in any other similar situation or scenario... My intended use was either at the beginning and end of the "NODE-RUNNER BATCH COMMAND SCRIPT", or before and after a "Handy Backup" job is run or completed. NOTE: RUNNING MULTIPLE TIMES WORKS WITHOUT PROBLEMS, BUT... AFTER A FEW QUICK "I WONDER IF THIS WORKS..." TEST RUNS, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND RUNNING "KITT-ON" OR "KITT-OFF" MULTIPLE TIMES AT THE SAME TIME... IT DOES WORK, AND THEY CAN ALL BE CLOSED WITHOUT PROBLEMS, BUT THERE IS NO CONTROL OVER WHICH "KITT-ON" IS CLOSED BY WHICH "KITT-OFF", NOT THAT IT MAKES MUCH DIFFERENCE EITHER WAY... |
